Around 100 business people from across Kent took the opportunity to visit and, in some cases, tour the Dover Marina Hotel and Spa when Kent Chamber of Commerce and Industry held one of its regular networking meetings at the hotel.
General manager Pradeep Wijesinghe and his team were on hand to meet and greet chamber members who enjoyed a presentation about the hotel’s exciting growth as well as sampling an excellent spread of pastries and other refreshments.
After the presentation, which focused on the new luxury rooms due to be open in a matter of weeks, the planned new reception and bar areas and enhanced conference and meeting facilities, many of the guests were taken on a tour of the hotel and spa’s impressive facilities.
“We were delighted to host one of the chamber’s regular networking meetings,” said Pradeep. “It gave us a great opportunity to showcase the hotel and the exciting transformation that is taking place currently. All the guests were interested in what Dover Marina has to offer both for business meetings and for overnight stays and it was a real eye-opener for some people.”
